Project Summary
I had the pleasure of collaborating with Susan Reoch on a WordPress website design for her new business, The UX Copywriter. This project involved not only creating a new website, but also revamping and consolidating scattered content and pages from her existing copywriting site. These pages were originally spread across different platforms, including ThriveCart and ConvertKit, each with it’s wn unique design. Our goal was to centralise all of these elements within the new website while ensuring design consistency throughout to match the new business branding.
The other primary objectives were to infuse The UX Copywriter’s fun and vibrant branding into the website while maintaining clear navigation, accessibility, and an excellent user experience. A notable challenge was dealing with sales pages packed with content, and making sure that the text was broken up to be easy to read and engaging, while still having a seamless flow.
Throughout the project we also discovered that the images originally provided didn’t match the vision that Susan had, so we both worked together with designer MJ Pix to create some amazing imagery to really help bring the website to life.
The result is a user-friendly website that reflects the lively brand identity, and clearly communicates everything the business offers. Every element was thoughtfully designed to entice website users into action, whether it’s signing up for courses, joining the mailing list, or downloading valuable free resources.
Sophie is an OUTSTANDING web designer! I was so confused about who to hire to bring my new (and complicated) website to life. As a User Experience (UX) copywriter who teaches others about UX, it had to be slick not just from a "looks" perspective but also functionality. Sophie nailed it. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything works the way it should and provides great insight and suggestions, too. Honestly, I cannot recommend her enough. She's knowledgeable in SEO and all things Elementor/WP.
She's easy going and hard-working (a rare combination). Truth be told, she's an absolute bargain for what you get. I've already booked her for another website, and I'm sure that won't be the last time we work together. Don't hang around. Book her for your project!! I'm so glad I did.Susan
