FAQs

Hi! We're Kitsune Creative Co, a Melbourne based Web Design and Digital Creative Agency.

Have some questions? Hopefully we have the answers for you below! If not, please reach out via email at [email protected] or via our contact page here.

Each business is unique and so are each of our client packages.

We offer a range of packages, which are individually tailored to include everything you need to set your business successfully set up online.

For a free quote please contact us at [email protected] or via our contact page to discuss your business and see how we can help you.

Website creation can take anywhere from 4 weeks to up to 6 months, depending on a few factors: how much work is involved, how quickly you can provide all of the content and assets (this is one of the major factors for delaying launch) and the turnaround time for revisions.

We work efficiently, but also don’t believe in rushing this process as it’s important to make sure everything is reviewed, tested and going to be an accurate and high quality representation of your brand for launch.

For most standard service websites it takes around 4 – 6 weeks from when all of the content is received.

The sooner you have everything sent to us, the sooner we can create your beautiful digital home.

First, we’ll need to determine the basics of what you require for your website (pages, functionality) so we can provide you with the best possible quote for your project. From there we’ll then discuss the details further via a zoom call.

Once we’ve both decided we’re a good fit for each other we’ll then send a questionnaire to properly understand your business, brand and target market as well as your goals and vision for the website, as well as a checklist for everything needed from you.

Once you’ve completed and submitted all of the required items we’ll then get started on the fun part – creating your masterpiece!

We’ll first send through an initial home page design for approval, and once approved we then get to work creating the rest of your website. We include 3 rounds for feedback: the initial home page design, the full website and then any final checks and updates.

When you have reviewed and approved your final website design we’ll do all of the final testing and optimisations,  and then it’s time for launch – yay!

We specialise in custom WordPress website design, with WooCommerce for e-commerce sites.

Check out our post here on why we love WordPress!

Each business is unique, and so are all of our website packages. Pricing will vary depending on your business needs and if you need additional help such as copywriting, branding or social media set up.

Our main website packages are packed full of value and everything you need to launch a beautiful and customer focused website. For e-commerce stores we specialise in WordPress and WooCommerce website design=. To find out more visit our Website Design information page here.

We also offer cheaper, limited one page website design, if this is suitable for your business.

For a free quote please contact us at [email protected] or via our contact page to discuss your business and see how we can help you.

Generally we require 50% deposit before starting a project, and 50% prior to launch or completion, before everything is handed over.

We are able to discuss options with you if needed, please contact us here or via email at [email protected] for a free quote and to discuss your needs.

Aside from our service fees there will be additional costs such as domain name registration and hosting. There may also be additional costs involved depending on your project, but we’ll make all of these clear to you at the start.

Another reason we love WordPress is that it’s free, open source software which helps to minimise costs. Check out more about WordPress here.

Domain costs are generally around $20-$40 per year, and hosting can range from $3 up to $50 per month, and sometimes higher. Hosting costs can vary due to various factors, the main being if your website is stored on a shared or private server, which has a huge impact on site security and speed. We’ll talk you through this in more detail, and all of the options for you.

I also recommend custom emails, such as [email protected], and using an email client such as G Suite which is around $9 per email per month.

Our hosting and care plans include access to our agency level licence fees for premium design and speed optimisation for your website, so if you choose to both host and maintain your website yourself you may need to purchase your own licence for these. During your handover and training session we will explain these to you in more detail.

Before we can launch into the fun stuff, I’ll require some things from you.

I’ll first send you a questionnaire which will contain all of the relevant information about your business, brand and target market so I can accurately create a beautiful website which suits your needs.

Generally, you’ll then need to also send me everything I need to get started, such as:

  • Your branding and logo
  • All of the images you wish to use, ideally in the required format and sizing
  • All of your website copy

Of course, we’ll be able to help you here too. If you don’t have these things ready to go, we also offer help with everything you need such as branding and website copywriting too. Everything you do submit yourself will also be edited and optimised but us too.

Yes! Websites need contact updates and revisions, so we want you to feel empowered to be able to update websites yourself. Before your site launches we’ll take you through a training session and provide you with notes. Of course, we understand that you may be busy too, so we also offer ongoing support and update packages.

No! We create custom websites from scratch, so they’re unique and tailored to you and your business.

We did assist businesses in the past with customising website themes, however we’re now moving all of them over to our custom created websites.

Aside from not being unique, website themes can really slow down loading times (which isn’t ideal for SEO or general user experience)  and they can also cause problems in the future if they’re not updated, so they’re also not a great long term solution.

Once we handover your shiny new website before launch, we’ll take you through a training session and provide you with details on everything you need to know.

You will be able to update and edit the website yourself, however we also offer maintenance and care plans, as well services for website additions as required too.

Yes! We also offer our own managed hosting, which is on a dedicated, private Australian server. Our hosting plans also includes our maintenance and care plan as well as ongoing access to our paid theme and plugin licenses.

For clients who already have their own hosting we offer maintenance and care plans as a standalone service too.

Our hosting and maintenance and care plans however are only offered to our clients for website we’ve built ourselves.

Find out more about our Website Hosting and Care Plans here.

SEO stands for search engine optimisation, and it’s vital for getting your website seen online! Find out more about SEO in our blog post here.

All of our websites are designed with on page SEO best practice in mind, so you’ll be properly set up and ready to go for launch. We don’t currently offer ongoing SEO support packages for extensive work, however we can help you with a strategy and refer you to third parties who specialise in this field. We do also offer blog post writing to help with your on page content. Find out more about SEO in our blog post here.
