About the Founder

Hi! My name is Sophie and I’m a proud nerd based in both Melbourne, Victoria and Devonport, Tasmania.

In a distant world that seems very long ago now, I was seven years deep into a retail buying career for a large department store. The charms of the role had worn off, and I found myself – like most people, falling into a rut and no longer enjoying my work.

I decided to take the leap and follow my passion of website design and digital marketing. After working with various clients across a range of digital marketing projects as well as continuing to grow my own personal blog, Kitsune Creative Co was eventually born. Now I can finally say that I wake up excited each morning ready to get to work!

While my previous career also involved working across various aspects of marketing and online retail, it also provided me with valuable experience looking after the other side of business, such as financial analysis, planning and brand management. All of this experience combined has helped me to be able to provide a well rounded range of business knowledge and marketing too, which I’m able to pass on to my clients.

I’ve managed to find my dream job and be passionate about what I do, so I can’t wait to help to use my experience to help other people achieve their dreams and grow their own businesses too.
