Eat Earthly

Project Summary

Eat Earthly is a plant based and vegan meal kit delivery service in Melbourne, who aim to show how nourishing, flavoursome and simple plant based cooking can be. I love working with health and wellness based business and so was excited to work on this project with them.

They came to me originally wanting some help with their Shopify site to fix up the design and mobile responsive versions. After some more discussions we decided that a WordPress and Woocommerce e-commerce site would be best to allow more better design, more functionality, ease of use for customers and to save on fees too.

The result is a beautiful new website which is a lot more on brand, easier for customers to navigate, now mobile friendly and optimised for SEO, as well as with additional functionality and automations like customers being able to view upcoming recipes.

Eat Earthly wanted to also promote reducing wastage from recipe print outs, so along with previewing upcoming weeks customers can also view the current week recipes online.

They were super happy with the result and we were too – check it out and give them a try if you’re based in Melbourne!

We couldn't recommend Sophie enough, she was so helpful and delivered exactly what we wanted for our website. The level of detail she want into with every aspect of our website was so helpful. Will definitely use and recommend Kitsune Creative Co again 🙂

Technical notes

This WordPress e-commerce site was built using our standard framework, but also required some extra research for the additions and configurations for the functionality we required.

One plugin we used was WooCommerce Product Add Ons by PluginRepublic. It was perfect for what we needed, for customers to be able to select meals each week and the customer support from the team was also fantastic. It was also cheaper than the WooCommerce plugins available. We’ll definitely be using this for our future builds and recommend other people to check it out too! (note: this is an affiliate link above – but we only recommend tools we use and love)
