Project Summary
Janice Gobey initially approached me to refresh her existing website, Gobey Executive Search. As the project evolved, it expanded into branding and a new website for a new division of her business: Gobey Careers.
For the branding, she just wanted a small update to the existing Gobey Executive Search logo, including a brand and tagline change as well as slight icon update too. We kept within the same colour palette, however using focusing for this new brand on the blue, teal, and neutral sand tones. These colours were chosen to appeal to a wide audience for Gobey Careers, as well as looking fresh and modern. The logo’s icon was also modified to reflect the new focus: while the original represented finding the right talent within a pool of applicants, the Gobey Careers icon symbolises an individual’s career path.
Once the branding was confirmed we then moved onto the website build portion of the project. Like the original Gobey Executive Search site, this was built as a single page website, with the addition of a consultation booking page. The layout and flow were kept similar while incorporating the focus colours for this new brand and refining the design to feel more modern and professional. The mobile version also received significant updates to ensure optimal performance and usability across devices.
Spam emails and enquiries were also an issue for Janice on her current website, so this new site was built measures included to reduce this as much as possible.
This project delivered a professional and cohesive brand presence for Gobey Careers, aligning seamlessly with the existing business while standing on its own as a fresh, engaging platform.
For the next phase of this project I’ll be updating the Gobey Executive Search website with the changes we originally discussed, as well as a slight refresh to the design too to both modernise and update the look slightly, and with some functionality improvements too.
